Warhammer Fortress and Terrain Primed

Finally got my airbrush setup working and got to prime the previous terrain piece I posted, the new Badger airbrush I'm using is a massive improvement.

The Warhammer Fortress is all glued together (and the towers got a layer of glue filler, to ensure they stay nicely together) and will soon be ready for a base layer of modelling detail. Namely cannonball holes in the walls and placed Chaos symbols and skulls.

This will be followed up by some base painting and then further detailing by adding objects to the tops of the curtain walls (refuse, barrels, excess weapons) and also adding bodies hanging from the walls. All of which will be modeled and painted separately.

The Bloodthirster is in the picture for size reference, but will also be manning the fortress as well.

I Lied

Airbrush is not fixed, I'm now waiting on an adapter to let my new Badger airbrush work with my current compressor...

New pictures of the Warhammer Fortress and some extra terrain pieces coming soon.

Arcane Ruins

My latest project involving the Arcane Ruins set from Games Workshop. I've got the terrain basics laid in, but there a lot of minor detail bits to be added in to give a better sense of scale and flavor. I plan to make these ruins dedicated to Khorne, so icons and bodies will be part of the detailing process :)

The next step is to fill in some areas I missed with the filler and grit, and then to get the whole thing prime coated using an airbrush. Updates soon.
